2022 – The year that was at Ume Loans

2022 was another growth year for us.

In 2022 we gave more clients second financial chances than in any other year before. It’s truly humbling to know the difference we are making in people’s lives.

Some highlights from the year are:

• $7.9M lent to our customers in 2022 (up 138%)
• 116% increase in the average loan amount
• Overdue customers down 6%
• More loans issued than any prior year
• We received 71 X 5 Star Google reviews from our customers
• We welcomed to the team Zoe and Emma
• We celebrated our 13^th year in business
• As a group we raised over $2000 for November
• Led by Darin, we donated over 60 Christmas toys to some amazing disadvantaged children, putting some very big smiles on their faces!
• We continued our significant investments into IT, confirming our push to be a true fintech business with significant growth potential

Overall, a very solid performance from the team, one we are very proud of in a challenging economy.

2023 is off to a cracker start with our team continuing the focus on giving good people the financial second chance they deserve.
